...Harvard Glee and Banjo Clubs gave their first concert in Chicago on the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 24th, at the Central Music Hall. A very enthusiastic audience was present and greeted the clubs with great applause. The newspapers spoke very highly of the work of Messrs. Williams, Atkinson, Farwell and Wendell. Mr. Wendell's Irish songs were apparently the favorites. The Mandolin Club rendered In Old Madrid" in a delightful manner.
