...Columbia football, the captain of the Columbia football team wrote, inquiring whether the scheduled game between Columbia and Harvard should be played. Answer was returned that either the game should be played or that Columbia should pay the advertising expenses already incurred. The game was scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 24th, and on the Fridays preceding, the captain of the Columbia team telegraphed to Harvard asking whether they should come.
