Usually the peak comes in the 36th week of the calendar year or the 26th week of the "polio year" (which begins after the low point in mid-March). Letters of Gold. This week, on its 25th anniversary as a public institution, the Morgan Library, housed in a Renaissance-style mansion on Manhattan's East 36th Street, paid tribute to its first director.
