...Worcester High School won the annual mile and a half race on Lake Quinsigamond with the Freshmen, Last Saturday, by three lengths, in 8m. 3-5s. The Worcester crew started out with a 44 stroke which it maintained to the finish. The Freshmen rowed a 35 stroke. At the three-quarter mark, Worcester led by a half length. Here the two crews drew together and Whitney bent his outrigger by strilking the Worcester coxswain in the back. Talbot broke his oar and thole pin.
