While I always considered them to be just another one hit wonder band from the 80s (their 1983 single "Red Red Wine" is lost somewhere in my dusty cassette collection but is still alive on my MP3 player), UB40 has not died, and neither has reggae. Despite songs such as Mariah Carey's "Breakdown" and Brian McKnight's "Anytime," which belong to a wave of late '90s radio-wrecking hits, many are beyond just cheap popular successes. Updated with a late 90s reference, the all-night rave, and late 90s stars, Go is not so much a well-scripted movie as it is an entertainingly frivolous amalgamation of keen actors and cinematographic one-liners.
