Ryan said a primary concern raised by students this week were aspects of the Board's operation seemingly aimed at "keeping students quiet" about its proceedings.
Two students were so concerned about going public with their complaints that they refused to attend a CLUH-sponsored forum on the Ad Board scheduled for Tuesday, Ryan said.
"They don't want long expositions. You have to be very succinct," he says. "You really have about 20 seconds to answer their questions."
Adam B. Ulam, Gurney professor of history and political science, says that the best scholars can do is "present an objective picture of what has led to the present situation," with some indication about future possibilities.
"The difference between the team you saw in the first half and early in the second half was that you saw a [Harvard] team play with confidence," Roby said. "That's all we talked about at halftime."
