The accident occurred on the Taconic Parkway in the Berkshire Mountains. The ear went out of control and careened along a guardrail. When the guardrail came to an end, the car left the road entirely and collided with a wall of rock.

Reginald I. Bradlee II '64-4 of Kirkland House and Winchester, Mass., was killed Saturday morning in a motor scooter accident.

The accident occurred about 7:30 a.m. at the junction of Longfellow Bridge and Memorial Drive. Apparently the scooter hit a curb and Holtan was thrown clear. Bradlee stayed with the vehicle as it veered across the center of the road and overturned.
