Sirs: Just got through dousing Saphead Dowse [TIME, June 13], when up pops saphead John Muller (TIME, June 20) who forgets that our popular American, Colonel Lindbergh, made the New York-to-Paris flight with only three sandwiches and a bottle of milk.* What German could accomplish this wonderful feat with less than a keg of beer, a barrel of sauerkraut and a whole roast pig ?
