...carefully planned wave of rioting that swept Paris, in the threat of a new Battle for Berlin, in the bloody clash of police and students armed with nail-studded clubs, spears, rocks and sulphuric-acid bombs that marked Memorial Day in Tokyo, there was no sly attempt to seduce the susceptible. Moscow had trusted its dove's sweet song to lull the free West into continued indecision. The song had bamboozled many, but it had not deterred the Western governments...
...decided to chance it in the Williston Basin, after other oilmen had been drilling there sporadically and futilely for about 30 years. Jacobsen drilled to 11,000 ft. before discovering that "core samples," removed at 8,000 ft., indicated the presence of oil. The resulting ore-bearing liquid is piped through a filter into another pressure vessel, where terrific heat and force precipitate the pure metal as a fine powder...

Price: about $1.50 more than other batteries...

In Belles, Webb is seen only in a brief flashback from the earlier film. Unfortunately, he and his acid personality could not be around for the rest of the movie to help counteract the saccharin goings...
