...second act shows the populace going to the bull fight. Spayce appears in the arena, sings his Toreador song,- and then proceeds to make mince meat of the bull. At this point a messenger arrives with the latest American History Leaflet-No. 10,657 1-2, which says that as Captain Kidd never existed, he did not bury his treasure in Boscabello. Spayce, however, receives a letter to the contrary, directing him to the place where the booty is buried. Guarded by the sailors of the steam yacht, Spayce carries off both the lady and the treasure, and the Bostonians...
