...hope that the recent action of the directors of Memorial Hall will be taken in good part by the boarders, as it is intended for their good. Some complaint will undoubtedly be made at the slowness with which the meals will be served when fourteen men have to accommodate themselves to the service of one waiter, but this is certainly better than the present arrangement, under which one is never sure of fending his seat vacant. EDITORS DAILY CRIMSON: -It seems as if some action ought to be taken about joining a torchlight procession. It has been the custom for Harvard to join the Republican procession, as a large majority of the students have favored the Republican candidates. This year, however, in consideration of the large Independent movement, the college is, probably, nearly divided. It would, however, spoil the fun of the procession, if the whole college did not go together...
