...some farmers to go out of business if this proposition passes? Prop 2 gives farmers six years to transition to more humane methods. I don't think one farmer who is competent is going to go out of business because of Prop 2. The farmers who are unable to adapt will go out of business. Those who adapt and understand the needs of consumers will thrive...
