Clinton is the master of the air, of the televised town meeting and the ad campaign. But now the key battles over spending and tax cuts shift to conference rooms, where Lott is master of the ground. He arrives well armed, as the only national leader to emerge from the last election with his power enhanced and his image unsplattered by campaign-finance scandals...
...officers of PBHA, we have tried over the past year to work more closely with the Assistant Dean than have any other students. The arguments here are not groundless ad hominem attacks, but are based on thorough reflection after many concrete experiences, ranging from program staff management to space planning, fundraising to personnel issues. The University's zero-tolerance policy toward alcohol and drugs does not decrease consumption on campus but pushes it into the unlighted and locked rooms of the Yard, the Grille and the Final Clubs. Seedy establishments, but the only places where it is safe for one to drink. Is this good? No! It breeds unhealthy drinking habits...
