...detailed account of the dress rehearsal appeared yesterday morning, and there is but little left to add. The performance went off last night without a single hitch. The principal male parts were excellently taken by F. P. Chaves and H. Schurz, while A. Corbin and E. Knoblauch, as the two young girls, were fascinating. The rest of the cast was uniformly good. The three ballets evoked great applause from the audience, the gypsy girls making an especial hit.
