Holograms, those silvery 3-D images that adorn 500 million credit cards, will - soon make an appearance on another product: designer clothing. Garments made by Italy's Gruppo GFT for European designers Valentino, Emanuel Ungaro and Claude Montana will arrive in stores next spring bearing wafer-thin holograms that are glued to labels inside the clothing. The images, virtually impossible to copy, will certify to shoppers and retailers that the designer pieces are authentic.
