...spite of the many difficulties that have had to be overcome by the editors of the Album, the work has been going steadily forward. Rather than leave out many pictures and material of interest and importance it was decided to have the date of publication postponed. Part of the volume is now on the press and the final preparations are being completed. It is the desire of the committee to have the Album on sale Class Day. Exactly what effect the outbreak of hostilities will have on other branches of the University activities, it is difficult to say. It is known that the CRIMSON, and, for the time being at least, the Lampoon, Advocate and Illustrated, will continue to be published, and the Senior Album, as well as the Freshman Red Book, will go to press as originally planned. Such class functions as smokers and dinners, however, will be cancelled; the Freshman banquet has already been called off, and the Sophomores and Juniors contemplate similar action.
