Died. Peter Lisagor, 61, Washington bureau chief of the Chicago Daily News and the best all-round newspaper correspondent in the nation's capital; of cancer; in Arlington, Va. Born poor in West Virginia, Lisagor played semipro baseball to pay his way through the University of Michigan. He joined the Daily News in 1939 and was assigned to Washington eleven years later.
