The work of Cranston and Heard against Hefflefinger, deserves notice; as well as the rushing and tackling of Newell and Allen. Harding played an admirable game, using the men well and rushing strongly himself. The half-back work of Wadsworth and Lee was strong and often brilliant; Dennison also did good work.
