While it seems hardly possible that the efforts of these papers to be sensational should influence either Harvard or Technology, we believe that we should not allow such a misrepresentation of our sentiment toward Cambridge men to pass uncorrected. Technology men have nothing but the best of feeling for Harvard and the keenest appreciation of the many courtesies we have received from Harvard men. It is our hope that in spite of these efforts to make trouble between us, we may become in the future even better neighbors than we have been in the past...

The class can not, as in past years, allow its crew debt to run over until the following year; but unless the debt is paid by summer it will have to be taken from the class fund which is always too small to meet the many uses to which it is put. ...Will you allow me to correct certain misstatements that have been made as to Harvard's objections to some of the Princeton football team? There has been no dispute between Harvard and Princeton on any question of fact, nor has Harvard at any time taken a position which could by any possibility have caused a rupture of the athletic relations existing between the two universities, or a refusal by either to play the football game arranged for today.
