During the second half almost all the team consisted of substitutes, but it seemed almost as strong as before. ...first football game of the season will be played on Soldiers Field this afternoon. Williams has an excellent team and the game promises to be close. Good enthusiastic support at the beginning of the work will put life into the playing almost more than anythin else can. We must make our football team victorious this year, and we can do it if we give it our thorough support. The enthusiasm of last spring worked wonders with the baseball team, although it began late. Let us see what it will do with the football team this fall if we begin right...
