Our football jerseys lately received from the makers are almost maroon. Would you think it too much trouble to send us a sample of the exact shade of the Harvard Crimson, and also inform us whether the football uniforms are this same shade or darker for playing purposes...

Yesterday's practice consisted almost entirely of dummy scrimmage and signal drill. Under the driving of the coaches, the squad worked continuously at a high tension. Hardwick's punting showed great improvement, while Brickley drop-kicked goals with his usual accuracy. Although the plays were run with dash and precision when the regulars were working, the drill became slower and less smooth when the first string men were replaced by the substitutes.
