COLUMBIA, disappointed in her hopes of a race with Harvard, has pluckily decided to send a four to England to meet the best amateur crews of Great Britain at the Henley Regatta in June. Messrs. Godwin, Sage, Colgate, Boyd, and Edson, substitute, will probably form Columbia's crew. Of these gentlemen, all but Mr. Boyd were on the eight which rowed at Springfield. OWING to the new rule which provides that professional base-ball clubs, members of the League, shall not play with amateur clubs on League grounds, one very important source of revenue is taken from our Nine.
