...that cities, offices and homes are designed can really influence people. Do you think that their design contributes a lot to people's happiness and even their success? Absolutely. Especially in North America, I think we tend to equate square feet with happiness. We need a big house to be happy. What's interesting is it's not actually the size of a domestic space that influences how we feel there. It's the layout, the appearance, our degree of comfort...
After asking myself that question, I had to take into account my own cultural biases. In America, the teen abstinence movement—at the helm of which currently sits Bristol Palin, the unwed teen mother and daughter of soon-to-be ex-Governor Sarah Palin—is alive and strong. And I think it’s safe to say that the potential for legalizing “the world’s oldest profession” is virtually nonexistent in our country. What do you think is particularly wrong with what Obama is doing now? President Obama is growing government outrageously, and it's immoral and it's uneconomic, his plan that he tries to sell America. His plan to "put America on the right track" economically, incurring the debt that our nation is incurring, trillions of dollars that we're passing on to our kids, expecting them to pay off for us, is immoral and doesn't even make economic sense. So his growth of government agenda needs to be ratcheted back, and it's going to take good people...
