...third annual American Henley Regatta, held Saturday afternoon on the Charles river, the Freshmen won from the University of Pennsylvania freshmen, the West Philadelphia Boat Club, and the Vesper Boat Club of Philadelphia in the race for second eight-oared shells. Although the Freshman crew was not closely pushed during the race, its time, 6 minutes and 40 seconds, was three seconds faster than that of the Yale freshmen, who were defeated by the Cornell second crew in a later event by several lengths.
