Nominee number five is "Sense and Sensibility"--like "Apollo 13," its director (Ang Lee) did not receive a nomination. But "Sense" won the Golden Globe award for best dramatic picture, and in the past 16 years, the Globes have accurately predicted 12 best picture winners, 12 best actors, and 14 best female actors.
