Netdisaster allows you to release all of your pent up, passive aggressive anger on websites you despise. It's the technological equivalent of drawing devil horns on a poster, or throwing darts at your archenemy's photo. Have you been recently laid off? Go take a crap on your former employer! Ex-boyfriend send you a malicious email? Hit his blog with a nuclear weapon. It's really fun, especially when you find a good headshot of Bill O'Reilly and have access to a fake banana cream pie. ...friend, a well-known serial entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, says I'm kidding myself. In states that passed "apology laws" that let doctors express regret when things go badly without having it thrown back at them in court, some hospitals have seen malpractice suits drop by half. Any marriage counselor can tell you that love means always having to say you're sorry. An apology...
...suggestions managed to emerge from the sea of anger, though it remains to be seen how feasible any of them are. Senator Evan Bayh, an Indiana Democrat, said he'd like AIG to enter some form of bankruptcy, "because when you go into bankruptcy, contracts are abrogated all the time." He was referring to AIG CEO Edward Liddy's claim that the bonuses were contractual and therefore had to be paid under the law. (See the top 10 bankruptcies...
