For this year's varsity swimming team, tomorrow's meet with Navy will tell the tale. The Crimson journeys to Annapolis weakened by the lack of two ineligible stars and pitted against the strongest team in the Academy's history.

Perhaps significant is the Crimson's winning so many firsts without stacking the lineup, a reversal of last month's Springfield results. A massive effort will still be required, however, to beat Navy in the Annapolis pool this Saturday.

Harvard recently joined Yale in dropping Navy from its future schedules, and Saturday's victory was particularly relishing to the Crimson and unwelcome to Navy. Annapolis has long been unpopular for its overheated courts and wildly partisan crowds. Last year Yale charged it with rigging the lineup.
