...children, and, ultimately, her suicide. The whole thing is twisted and carnivalesque, but suffused and dripping with all the raw emotionality Reed was able to conjure up in his drug-fueled state. And it seems the years have been kind to Reed. “Berlin: Live at St. Anne??s Warehouse” lacks for none of the gut-wrenching horror or awe-inspiring lyricism that characterized the original release. Recorded in 2006 at (you guessed it) St. Anne??s Warehouse in Brooklyn, the album is now being released in conjunction with a film directed...

...reign, and, from a more modern perspective, the commerce of women between upper-class families. The film, directed by Justin Chatwick, is as tragic and gory as it is decadent and passionate. ...woke up to her first day back at Harvard to find rotten news in her Wigglesworth doordrop. Soyre nearly spit out her poached egg when she read that her alma mater, Winsor Academy, had only been ranked second by the Wall Street Journal. Hoping that her Saint Anne??s alum roommate Isidore R. Hopkinson ’07 wouldn’t learn that her school had topped the list, Soyre hid her copy of the Journal behind her second-place squash trophies. Unfortunately Hopkinson had already heard the news. At breakfast, she couldn’t refrain...
