...HAVEN, May 10.- Boating matters have been the most noticeable features of last week, great expectations having been entertained regarding the annual spring regatta, held Saturday. It was felt that this would afford a final opportunity of gauging the university crew before the race at Henley, and its defeat by a crew composed of six of the sophomore eight and two freshmen substitutes, was disappointing.
