...first "pop" concert of the year will be given by the Pierian Sodality Orchestra in the Living Room of the Union next Tuesday evening at 8.30 o'clock. It is planned to have at least one and possibly more of these entertainments before the regular annual concert to be given in Sanders Theatre about the middle of April. There will also be a concert given in Brattle Hall shortly after the end of Christmas vacation. One concert by the Pierian has already been given in Waltham but no extended trip is planned before next spring...

In several respects the carnival will differ from those held in the past.
