After a lapse of three years the CRIMSON will again on Saturday night resume its custom of holding an annual dinner. It will take place in the Sanctum of the CRIMSON Building at 7 o'clock in the evening. The purpose of the dinner is to discuss informally between the active editors and guests the present problems which confront the University; to further co-operation with the University authorities, and with the publications of other colleges; and to formulate policies for next year in regard to the CRIMSON. ...trials of the forty-third annual intercollegiate track meet will begin at the Stadium tomorrow afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. At this time competitions will be held in the pole-vault, shot-put, and high jump, followed a half an hour later by trial heats in the 100-yard dash. This evening the annual Phi Beta Kappa banquet will be held at the Lombardy Inn, and will be followed by a theatre party. Speeches will be made by R. E. Eckstein '20, orator; G. W. Allport '19, poet; and F. M. Carey '20, Latin odist; and the election of the secretary for next year will be announced. It is customary for the members of the Yale and Princeton chapters to be present at this banquet but this year the high-stand men have been unable to make the trip to Cambridge from New Haven or Princeton...
...Pierian Sodality will give its annual concert in the Union this evening at 8 o'clock. Admission will be free, and all members of the University are invited to attend. Contrary to the custom of former years, the orchestra will give selections of light music only. The program will include the "Light Cavalry Overture" and a number of musical pieces from "Going Up."
