...that which assembled to hear Canon Farrar, was gathered in the chapel, showed that the students were eager to receive the new plan for religious worship. The noble words of Phillips Brooks - "We now give you religion, with the only foreign element which it formerly had, removed; we appeal to your humanity to preserve it.
