C., April 23.--A message from Captain Cordier and Captain Bjornstadt this evening stated that the outlook for the establishment of a camp at Harvard for the training of officers for the Reserve Officers' Corps was favorable. President Lowell and Captain Cordier were in conference today with the Secretary of War and with members of the War College Division of the General Staff, and laid before them the plans and arguments for the establishment of a unit here. ...MacDougall '18, chairman of the Junior Dinner Committee, announced last night that the Junior dinner originally set for Monday evening, April 30, has been indefinitely postponed. This action, similar to that already taken by 1920, will in all probability be followed by the Sophomores within the next few days. Not only are the classes greatly depleted by various calls to the colors, but in the case of the Juniors existing conditions have resulted in a smaller class collection than usual, which might not stand the financial strain incurred by a dinner...

The picture was to have been taken on April 10 but when it was found that all Seniors had not secured their gowns the class officers decided to postpone it until after the spring recess...

The usual Freshman collection has been given up this year and instead the financial aid for the Senior Picnic will come directly from the 1920 class fund.
