Died. Georges Bonnet, 83, last important political survivor of the French Third Republic; in Paris. Bonnet was best known as an architect of the ill-fated Munich Pact with Hitler in 1938. Ambassador to the United States in 1937, he was a Cabinet Minister in no less than 18 of his country's governments between 1925 and 1939. Charges against Bonnet of collaborating with the Nazis as a member of the Vichy government were dropped in 1949.
