Once the then arduous trip to Ottawa had been completed the team found itself welcomed and feted by officials and citizens alike. Members of the party have been preparing themselves here this fall for the arduous climb by exercise on a stationary bicycle and tread mill in the Fatigue Laboratory at Harvard.
