Kinsley made an excellent argument insupport of Jones. We should consider the many competent people who have sought further graduate study in order to enhance their capability to do a job, only to find that they're unemployable because of an excess of documented qualification. Aside from the guilty-until-proved-innocent argument, many students are apoplectic that a for-profit entity--which charges 87 per student per year for plagiarism detection--is making money off their homework.
