...that's not the whole story. I do believe the stem cell debate is one in which reasonable people can differ. There is a purity and simplicity to the right-to-life argument that is clear and consistent. It is not an argument to be sneered at or dismissed as old-world quackery. The scientific argument needs even less bolstering: Stem cell research has the potential to improve life for all the living by finding cures for diseases that have defeated us since the beginning of time...
