This year, owing to the two sets of football rules, considerable confusion has arisen among the different colleges. Some have chosen the rules adopted by Harvard, while others have chosen those of Yale, which in several respects are radically different. The Tri-Collegiate Association, consisting of Amherst, Dartmouth and Williams, has adopted the Yale rules to govern its championship games. Brown has also accepted the Yale rules.
