Massive Resistance. Virginia's "massive resistance" laws (TIME, June 2) are a patently unconstitutional fortress-of-cards, but the state's lawmakers are manning the battlements with determination. Norfolk, Newport News, Charlottesville and Northern-infiltrated Arlington face court integration orders.
