There's nothing quite as charming as the 32nd aisle of an MD-80. I've often wondered whether it stems from the lack of a window, the intimate proximity to the engines or the savory aroma that wafts out the nearby lavatory, but as I descend into Logan after a fetid and sightless flight from San Francisco, I am reminded that its greatest charm is not any of these.
