There is no occasion nor excuse for ruffianism; the class may have a memorable evening's fun without placing themselves liable to arrest, or disgracing themselves or the college. What matters it if the Boston press does "vent its indignation?" That's what newspapers are for. Let the class of '85 show themselves gentlemen, at least, as much as the upper classes, but let not their "dignity" and faintheartedness prevent their trying...
