The size of Vogue, on shiny paper with two of its 84 pages in color, Bachelor appeared to bid for a clientele a social cut above Esquire's. Recently acquired by the Fogg Art Museum is a statuette, probably a contemporary copy, of a Venus by Giovanni; Bologna, who worked in Florence in the 16th Century.
