Elmer P. Kohler, professor of chemistry at the University, and Arthur A. Noyes, director of the Research Laboratory of Physical Chemistry at M. I. T., are the local representatives on the Research Fellowship Board of the National Research Council, the personnel of which has just been announced. The board is to have administration of a plan under which the Rockefeller Foundation has undertaken to co-operate with the Council in the promotion of fundamental research in physics and chemistry.
