...Alumni Civic Service Committee gave to every Senior voter at the time of the election of the marshals a special ballot, the purpose of which was to ascertain in which form of community service he would be interested in after graduation. About 335 Seniors voted at this election, of whom 184 marked the special ballot. That is, considerably over half of the class showed that it was interested in some form of community service.
