...Tippett's works will be released-equivalent to his entire previous output on disks. This summer the Leicestershire, Bath and Edinburgh festivals will all feature special programs of Tippett's music. In July he will visit the U.S. to serve as composer-in-residence at the Aspen Music Festival in Colorado. At 60, the late-blooming composer is at the peak of his creative career.
