Work on the new handball courts in the rear of the Hemenway Gymnasium is well under way. There will be eight of these courts, four on each side of the asphalt yard. In all probability two of them will be specially reserved for the use of the 'Varsity baseball pitchers, while the other six will be public. The concrete flooring of the yard will be retained. Through the generosity of graduates ten handball courts are to be put up this week on the asphalt court behind the gymnasium. The fence at each end of the asphalt court is to be replaced by a wooden wall twelve feet high and one foot thick. Five handball courts, each fifteen feet wide, are then to be walled off along the ends. ...candidates for the lacrosse team have been prevented from regular field practice for some time owing to the cold weather. The squad work on the asphalt or in the Gymnasium, however, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
