Usage:

Constant messengers of hope assail them. Periodically, an old biddy pops in to pass out leaflets and verbal pep pills: "Good morning. I have a message for you. It's that God gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." Moments later, the ballet of death begins again as white screens wheel and circle to shield in final decorum the bed of a dying patient...

Scott is getting nervous because he went out on a limb to assail Dean's credibility on the basis of tape transcripts and summaries shown to him by Nixon. The failure of the White House to make the same information public disturbs Scott. His associates worry that he may have been misled by the one-week discrepancy in Dean's testimony about hush money, perhaps having seen a transcript in which no such discussion appeared. As for giving the Rodino committee what it wants, Scott, too, is opposed to "fishing expeditions," but he does not believe that the committee...

Both in Vienna and on visits abroad, he took every opportunity to assail Hungary's Communist government, obdurately remaining a stumbling block in the Vatican's policy of Ostpolitik-an attempt to improve relations with the Communist countries of Eastern Europe and normalize church activities there. Simultaneously with the Mindszenty announcement, the Vatican made public four new episcopal appointments...

Harvard Nutritionist Jean Mayer warns that a steady diet of McDonald's fare and nothing else could give a customer scurvy because it would lack sufficient vitamin C. Mayer also says that the menu provides large amounts of fats and calories (557 for a Big Mac, 317 for a chocolate shake, 215 for a small order...

...election cause, although little was done to give the party a broader, more lasting base. The President must successfully isolate McGovern from the mainstream of the challenger's own party (which McGovern has already done to a great extent himself). Nixon also must resist the temptation to assail his opponent emotionally rather than logically. If he can do those things, it is very likely that he will win "four more years." The U.S. electorate may just decide that having done an outstanding job in international affairs during his first term, he deserves a chance to show what...
