...setbacks with a win at home. After another rough start, Conn. College was eager to show it could remain competitive. Both teams fielded a young roster of underclassmen. The Camels were led by lone senior, Nick Llewellyn, who carries the burden of the team’s offensive attack, while the Crimson squad is led by co-captains Tune and Jay Connolly, fronting a strong base of freshman and sophomore talent. “We are a young team and we were learning this season,” Connolly said. “Now I think we finally found a grove...

Cole isn't the only telemarketer who refused to deliver the attack call, which has been made in several battleground states. Ted Zoromski of Middleton, Wisconsin, quit his job at a Madison firm rather than make the call. And some leading members of McCain's own party up for reelection, including Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Gordon Smith of Oregon, have called on McCain and the RNC to stop the robocalls...

Shouldering most of the offensive load for Princeton is junior tailback Jordan Culbreath. A quick and physical runner who has already posted 481 yards and four touchdowns this season, Culbreath is going up against a Harvard defense that hasn’t quite been itself lately against the run.The Crimson...

...that statement, while barely changing his posture, Obama offered the counterexample of people at McCain’s rallies who have chanted, “Kill him.” Americans do not want a weak president who bellyaches about how hurt he or she was by an attack ad, especially in the middle of a three-front war on terrorism, in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the globe—not to mention the financial crisis.Of course, McCain had great moments in the 90 minute debate. After being criticized for Republican policies, McCain told Obama...
