...some time Wednesday night, or early yesterday morning, the Semitic Museum was broken into by an unknown person who made an unsuccessful attempt to gain access to the exhibition room on the third floor. Entrance was effected by breaking a window on the east side of the southeast room on the ground floor, and the person was apparently injured by the broken glass, for blood stains were left on the window sill and the floor. He apparently went into the hall from the room where he entered the building, and went immediately to the third floor where he tried...
