Shortly after the start of the next quarter Mahan made an attempt at a field goal from the 20-yard line, following a series of successful line plunges. With the ball in Exeter's possession, a fumble was made but recovered by Perkins for Harvard. Mahan then kicked a goal from the 18-yard line. In the remaining minutes of play the Freshmen brought the ball to Exeter's 10-yard line, but time was called before a score could be made. Score: Harvard 1916, 3; Exeter...

...cover more pages of English A paper than ever this year. However, it is hoped that the Freshmen will not confine all their ideas to the prescribed pad. They can perform a real service to the University and to succeeding classes by co-operating with the Office in its attempt to arrange the new dormitories so as to satisfy all sorts of requirements. The final score was 6 to 0, the only touchdown being made by Philbin in the second period as the culmination of a long series of line rushes. His attempt at a goal from an easy angle, however, went wild. Yale had one other really good opportunity to score in the third quarter as a result of several line plunges and a well-executed forward pass from Spalding to Flynn. But the Army held for three downs and on the fourth recovered a fumble on the one-yard...
